Objects often tell stories. In the aftermath of the Hamas Terrorist’s massacres of October 7, 2023, the destroyed homes and sites of murders held so many stories. Often it was the most simple and mundane objects that told the story of when everything was fine, and then, in a split second, when nothing would ever be fine again. Many of these are actual items left behind, found on the floor, objects that act as witness to the horrors of that day. This artist’s book contains a short essay in Hebrew and English about that morning and my search for finding some kind of creative outlet for my angst. There are 24 individual prints of watercolors. 10% of the sales go to rebuild the burnt and destroyed border communities.
