Reflecting the tension within the curatorial world: fine art versus craft, etchings have been deconstructed and re-purposed to make a coat. One can no longer understand the orginal etching image, nor can one practically wear such a coat. It is still however, art. This piece was selected as part of an international printmaking exhibition, “Evolutionary Tradition” in Spring 2019 at the Sichuan Fine Art Museum, Chongqing, China. It was selected to be in the 16th International Tapestry Triennial “Breaching Borders” in Lodz, Poland, October 2019, and was recently featured in the exhibition “paper Fascination” at the Gustav Lübke Museum in Hamm.
